THE MEET YOUR NEIGHBOURS PROJECT
The Meet Your Neighbours project started in 2009 at the initiative of Niall Benvie (Scotland) and Clay Bolt (USA) as a way to illustrate local biodiversity and promote its preservation. They were joined in the following years by an international consortium of Nature photographers and the project became a worldwide succces in education and conservation
I joined in 2013 and was able to use these images in exhibits, publications and school projects, to help raise awareness of local biodiversity
Images in the gallery have been taken in Borneo, French Guiana and at home on the French Riviera
Le projet Meet Your Neighbours a démarré en 2009 à l'initiative de Niall Benvie (Ecosse) et Clay Bolt (USA) pour illustrer la biodiversité locale et promouvoir sa préservation. Ils ont été rejoints dans les années suivantes par un consortium international de photographes de Nature et le projet est devenu un succès mondial en matière d'éducation et de conservation
J'ai rejoint le projet en 2013 et j'ai pu utiliser ces images dans des expositions, publications et projets scolaires, pour contribuer à sensibiliser à la biodiversité locale
Les images de la galerie ont été prises à Bornéo, en Guyane française et aux alentours de mon domicile sur la Côte d'Azur
